Hardships of Arabs through Modern Arabic Films and Series

Abstract

Arabic series and films convey sufferings and hardships of the people in different eras and places. Such type of films and series has profound effects on the people of an area. As the Arab world has been suffering from internal instability majorly because of the external aggressions of many European countries and the US, thus the Arabic movies and dramas show such an interference and its aftermaths that usually shows immeasurable suffering of the people. The article is divided into two sections; the first speaks about series and films in standard Arabic language and the second elaborates the films and series in colloquial Arabic language. Results are given at the end.
